Our DPF Cleaning Service
Dorset DPF Centre is dedicated to delivering cleaning services for your vehicle's DPF system. Diagnostics
We always recommend having your garage carry out a diagnostic test to assess accurately the problem with your DPF. In most instances a unit will only become blocked because of a failure elsewhere on the vehicle. This could be as simple as a dirty EGR valve or as serious as a failed injector or turbo. In laymans terms, once the car/van is not running properly any inefficiencies/soot/oil/unburnt fuels etc are trapped by this filter. Once your vehicle indicates a problem the diagnostic can save time and money by giving an explanation to the warning indication and secondary issues.
Quotation
Your garage will quote for labour charge for removal and refit of your DPF.
Dorset DPF Centre will quote for the cleaning aspect and any other replacement parts required such as replacement flexi pipe or other parts your garage cannot supply.
Collection
Once the DPF is removed from your vehicle we can arrange for one of our couriers to collect the DPF. Please note all sensors should be removed.
Dorset DPF Centre cannot
accept liability for any damage caused to sensors which are not removed from the unit.
Collection and delivery can be done at a convenient date for you, meaning sit back and relax while we bring your vehicle back to health.

Flow Test
Prior to any clean being undertaken we will test the airflow on your DPF and supply you with the reading. In addition to this we use a camerascope to inspect the integrity of the filter and report any damage immediately. If the integrity is compromised we will supply photographs and can offer you a replacement DPF service ensuring any downtime is kept to a minimum.

Flash Cleaning Machine
Put the filter on the worktop of the washing cabin and connect it to the water pipe. From 30 minutes (car DPF-FAP) to 120 minutes (truck DPF). Flash Cleaner Machine is a one-of-a-kind machinery that performs all of the cleaning phases (washing and drying) without cutting, oven-baking and welding​.​​

Cleaning your DPF
Utilising state-of-the-art Flash Cleaning technology, the environmentally-friendly process delivers as new levels of cleanliness by removing all soot deposits, including PM10 particles, cerium oxide deposits and oil residues from the DPF.

Delivery
Your DPF will be returned to you via courier for your garage to re-fit. The whole process should take no longer than 48 hours. DPFs can be collected same day if booked before 1pm. DPFs can also be cleaned whilst you wait if brought to our centre.

How does
Carbon Cleaning Work?
Carbon is produced due to incomplete combustion in the engine cylinders, and builds up layer upon layer of black, hardened carbon. This affects the smooth running of the engine and causes many other issues in all types of combustion vehicles like passenger cars, HGVs and even tractors to name but a few. Hybrid vehicles also have feature a combustion engine and therefore will incur carbon build-up in those parts.
Carbon Cleaning products use cutting-edge HHO engine cleaning technology to solve the problem.
Start the
Carbon Clean
​Our specially designed machine is set according to the engine size.
The HHO is fed into the engine through the vehicle’s air intake valve to mix with the air and fuel in the combustion chambers of the engine. This service can be completed at our centre.

​When this mixture ignites the HHO combusts at a much higher temperature than the fuel alone. This effectively atomizes the carbon deposits as the engine is idling over the period of 30-40 minutes.
Expelling
the Carbon
The Carbon Clean products of the reaction is hydrocarbon (HC) and Carbon Monoxide (CO) gas. This is safely expelled past the exhaust valve, through the DPF (with diesel engines) and out of the tailpipe.

This revolutionary technology is more efficient, ecological and much kinder to the engine than the traditional chemical methods used.
The process is also non-invasive: a technician can now clean an engine in a short period without first disassembling it.
